POP beauty Nadine Coyle’s solo career has been plunged into crisis by a series of crippling budget cuts.

Nadine, 24, was desperate to launch her first album this summer in a bid to rival Girls Aloud bandmate Cheryl Cole.

But the US-based starlet – who yesterday denied claims that she is at personal loggerheads with Cheryl – has been left fuming after her £900,000 budget was slashed to £200,000.

She was always one of the more curvy members of Girls Aloud.

But as Nadine Coyle stepped out in London yesterday the 24-year-old looked shockingly slender.

The Irish singer covered her frame with a loose black blazer and shift dress. But there was no disguising her pin-thin legs as she met record producer William Orbit.

Nadine is now permanently based in Los Angeles, where the pressures to remain in shape are notorious.

But from the look of things she may have taken it too far.

Oh yes, it’s like all the things our Irish, boyband-loving dreams were made of. In fact, our 15-year-old selves did a little jig when we saw it happen before our eyes. That’s right, Boyzone and Westlife have finally teamed up – and it was all for a very emotional tribute to Stephen Gately.

Joking about whether their super group should be called “Westzone” or “Boyzlife”, Ronan told us he found the day of rehearsals and reminiscing “very emotionally draining” but knew Stephen was looking down on them while they recorded their ITV1 special.

Nadine Coyle also joined the lads on stage (in a very boobalicious dress) for a version of Love Me For A Reason and Mika collaborated with them for Gave It All Away while Stephen’s sister, Michelle and husband, Andy, watched on. Despite it being an emotional night, Mikey, Ronan, Keith and Shane sounded great, singing live for the studio full of their fans.

Girls Aloud’s comeback is being stalled by Nadine Coyle’s solo break in the US, band member Kimberley Walsh has revealed.

Walsh says she is determined to get the girls back in the studio soon for a more ‘mature’ comeback but the process is being held up by Coyle’s plans in Hollywood.

‘I miss the girls’, Walsh, 28, told me in an exclusive chat. ‘The plan is… well, basically, Nadine needs to come over from LA. We need to chat and book it in because there are five people’s diaries to work around, rather than just one.’

Ending persistent rumours of a split after Cheryl Cole’s solo career took off, Walsh says she wants the girls to take a more mature direction, adding: ‘We signed up for three albums before we took the break.’

She can’t wait to get back in the studio, saying: ‘We always have to take it up a level and bring out new and exciting stuff. The things we’ll be singing about will be quite different this time around.’ Read full article.

Cheryl Cole and Nadine Coyle have reportedly made a New Year’s resolution to put past differences behind them.

The Girls Aloud stars allegedly spent more than an hour on the phone on Christmas Eve and vowed to make a fresh start in 2010.

“It all started with a text message that Nadine sent to Cheryl wishing her a happy Christmas,” a source told the Daily Star.

“Cheryl texted her straight back and the next thing you know they were on the phone having a real heart to heart.
