Cheryl Cole has sent a text message to husband Ashley telling him  their relationship is over.

The betrayed singer sent the message after reading of her footballer husband’s five mistresses, according to reports.

Cheryl intends to return to the UK this week to announce the split, with a draft statement regarding the divorce already drawn up.

A close friend of the star told the Sun that when she headed to Los Angeles following her performance at the Brits she was still deciding her future.

But she is now clear that the marriage is over and, as the Daily Mail reported last week, is said to have consulted divorce lawyers.

‘The time for any more excuses or promises is over. She wants to have put a statement out by the end of the week so she can start moving on,’ the friend said. Read full article.

CHERYL Cole declared her marriage was worth fighting for last week – just days before Ashley’s recent sex snaps scandal was exposed.

The X Factor judge told Hello! magazine that despite her husband’s infidelity, she believes you shouldn’t give up on a relationship if you love each other.

The 26-year-old beauty made the comments before The Sun revealed today how explicit messages and photos of him were found on a blonde secretary’s phone.

His shame comes days after we told how nude pictures of him were sent to a topless model’s mobile.

She told the mag: “You don’t have to just give up when two people who love each other have a few problems.

“Anyone who throws in the towel ends up achieving nothing.” Read full article.
