Above is a video of Kimberley performing ‘Rainy Days and Mondays‘ with Jamie Cullum as part of ITV1’s special ‘Celebrating The Carpenters‘. Didn’t she look and sound amazing? I’ve also added x240 HQ screencaps from the performance to the gallery. Click the thumbnails above to see the full set. Enjoy!

Cheryl miffed after Jamie boot
November 17, 2009     Posted in: cheryl cole, x factor     By: James     Comments (0)

CHERYL Cole looked miffed last night as she left the X Factor studios – despite her act Lloyd Daniels making it through.

The Geordie judge seemed to be in a huff as she spoke on the phone after yesterday’s shock results show.

Welsh teen Lloyd made it through after the judges’ vote went to deadlock again – and rocker Jamie Archer was left with the least number of public votes.

But rather than celebrate over Lloyd – who has been getting a tough reception from the judges lately – staying in the competition, the 26-year-old looked annoyed and angry.

And after Jamie got the boot, Cheryl was spotted consoling him outside the Wembley studios.

It hasn’t been a good weekend for the Girls Aloud singer.

It emerged today that her fella Ashley Cole chose to watch the football instead of her on X Factor on Saturday.

ONE TRUE VOICE’S, JAMIE, SLAMS CHERYL’S PERFORMANCE
October 21, 2009     Posted in: cheryl cole     By: James     Comments (1)

Jamie Shaw has criticised Cheryl Cole’s performance of her debut solo single on ‘The X Factor’.

Speaking to The Sun, the former One True Voice singer said that Cole appeared to struggle with the live rendition of ‘Fight For This Love‘.

Shaw said: “I thought Cheryl’s performance was poor. She looked really nervous and lost on that big stage. With the higher notes, she strained a bit and you could tell that in her face.

“There was no oomph in her performance. It was quite flat. She has a brilliant recording voice, but live it really isn’t working.”

One True Voice were made up of the male winners of 2002’s ‘Popstars: The Rivals‘ but lost out to the female victors Girls Aloud, who included Cole, in the battle for that year’s Christmas number one.

Shaw’s former One True Voice bandmate Daniel Pearce progressed to the Boot Camp phase of this year’s ‘X Factor’ but did not make it to the live knockout rounds.
