Kimberley Walsh has admitted that she misses Girls Aloud.

The group are currently on a 12-month break, but the Suck My Pop host told OK that she cannot wait for the five girls to get back together.

“I will get excited [when we get back together] because we do miss each other and as much as it’s crazy mayhem it is good fun and it is nice having the girls to support you,” she said.

“It’s different being on your own. Bittersweet – there’s good and bad to everything, isn’t there?”

Walsh added that she is looking forward to performing on stage with the band again. Read full article.

Kimberley Walsh wants Glee producers to make a Girls Aloud episode.

The US musical TV show has already featured songs by stars such as Madonna, Lady Gaga and Britney Spears.

Asked about whether she’d like to see Girls Aloud‘s music in Glee, Kimberley, 28, told OK! magazine: “That would be amazing. Why can’t they do that?! You could completely turn our songs in a theatrical direction if you wanted. It would be amazing – put it out there please!”

She added: “I started watching thinking maybe it would be too cheesy for me, but that’s the beauty of it – it’s total escapism.”

Kimberley said of Girls Aloud recording again: “Although we’re supposed to be having a bit of a break, I don’t want to rest too much, because I get bored.”

What are your daily beauty essentials?

I use Pond’s Cold Cream Cleanser after I’ve showered in the morning – it’s really good value and lasts for ages. Then I moisturise with Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula, which smells amazing and keeps my skin super-soft. I’m not snobby at all about the products I use.

Your make-up must-haves?

Benefit Hoola bronzing powder, worn high on my cheekbones for a natural glow, and Bad Gal eyeliner, which I love to smudge for a worn-in look. Mac’s coral lipgloss is another all-time favourite. And I have to have mascara – I’ve been using Max Factor Masterpiece for ever.

What makes you feel glamorous?

Big hair! I don’t feel complete doing a gig or going on a night out without it. I know it’s bad for my hair but I like to use tongs and rollers and do lots of backcombing to give it extra volume. Read full article.

Kimberley Walsh doesn’t think it would have been “appropriate” for her to replace Cheryl Cole on ‘The X Factor’.

The Girls Aloud star – who presented a live broadcast for the 2009 ‘X Factor’ final from eventual winner Joe McElderry’s home town of South Shields – insists she is happy that Nicole Scherzinger was asked to step in and cover for her malaria-stricken bandmate during the Boot Camp stage of the competition.

She explained: “Cheryl and I have similar opinions but it’s Cheryl’s gig so it wouldn’t be appropriate for me to replace her.

“Nicole Scherzinger will be interesting to watch – it’s a good way for the public to get to know her better.”

While Kimberley had been rumoured to be taking over from the brunette beauty as she recovers from the bout of malaria she contracted last month, Pussycat Dolls star Nicole was asked to stand in after impressing music mogul Simon Cowell during her stint as a guest judge. Read full article.
