Cheryl Cole may have cancelled Valentine’s Day, but it was an entirely different story for her Girls Aloud bandmate Nicola Roberts.

The red-head singer looked to be having the time of her life on a romantic dinner date at London’s Nobu Berkley last night.

She was grinning from ear to ear as she emerged from the popular Japanese restaurant while clutching the hand of her boyfriend Charlie Fennell.

Perhaps it was the champagne, or maybe just the love in the air, but she even looked a little giddy as she made her way to a waiting cab.

Nicola, 24, was dressed in a Seventies style cobalt blue dress, while Charlie was well turned out in jeans, a white shirt and tweed jacket. Read full article.

But as she emerged triumphant from Fountain Studios following the X Factor last night, Cheryl had a clear message for those who have doubted her commitment.

Her t-shirt boasted ‘I’m in love’ in bold pink letters, with a heart and crossed arrows.

She was accompanied by footballer husband Ashley, who held hands with his glowing wife as they left in the back of a car.
