Cheryl Cole has attracted the biggest crowd of the day so far with her performance at Radio 1′s Big Weekend in Bangor, north Wales.

The Girls Aloud star took to the stage at 4.15pm and played a 25-minute set.

Speaking from the stage she said: “What a fantastic crowd we’ve got here today. Is everybody ready to have fun?”

Her set included singles Fight For This Love, Parachute and a cover a Owl City‘s Fireflies, which she first debuted in Radio 1′s Live Lounge.

Before playing 3 Words Cole, wearing a khaki army dress and silver aviator sunglasses, said: ”Everybody that’s in love in here today I want you to turn to your partner and sing this one.” Read full article.

CHERYL COLE will be among the acts to appear in Wales next month at the Radio One Big Weekend, it was announced yesterday.

The Girls Aloud star will perform alongside acts including Florence and the Machine and Rihanna at the two-day event which takes place at Faenol Estate in Bangor on May 22 and 23.

Welsh acts including Lostprophets, Marina and the Diamonds and Kids in Glass Houses have also been confirmed.

The line-up was announced yesterday morning on the Chris Moyles breakfast show.

The Big Weekend is the biggest free ticketed music event in Europe, with fans registering on the BBC Radio One website. Read full article.

CHERYL COLE is dealing with her fair share of woe at the moment.

Cheating hubby ASHLEY is enough to worry about but she is also facing a potentially troublesome legal challenge over her biggest hit.

Disgruntled US publishers Peer music have stepped forward to claim that one of their songwriters co-wrote Cheryl‘s chart topper Fight For This Love.

They are now seeking damages from her publishers, Sony/ATV, over royalty payments.

A lawsuit has been launched in the States seeking a slice of cash made from the track, which shot straight to No1 on its release last October.

Not what Cheryl needs right now.
