POP beauty Nadine Coyle’s solo career has been plunged into crisis by a series of crippling budget cuts.

Nadine, 24, was desperate to launch her first album this summer in a bid to rival Girls Aloud bandmate Cheryl Cole.

But the US-based starlet – who yesterday denied claims that she is at personal loggerheads with Cheryl – has been left fuming after her £900,000 budget was slashed to £200,000.

Sources say investors are reluctant to back her when she is not a cast-iron chart certainty.

But as Nadine Coyle stepped out in London yesterday the 24-year-old looked shockingly slender.

The Irish singer covered her frame with a loose black blazer and shift dress. But there was no disguising her pin-thin legs as she met record producer William Orbit.

Nadine is now permanently based in Los Angeles, where the pressures to remain in shape are notorious.

But from the look of things she may have taken it too far.

Oh yes, it’s like all the things our Irish, boyband-loving dreams were made of. In fact, our 15-year-old selves did a little jig when we saw it happen before our eyes. That’s right, Boyzone and Westlife have finally teamed up – and it was all for a very emotional tribute to Stephen Gately.

Joking about whether their super group should be called “Westzone” or “Boyzlife”, Ronan told us he found the day of rehearsals and reminiscing “very emotionally draining” but knew Stephen was looking down on them while they recorded their ITV1 special.

Nadine Coyle also joined the lads on stage (in a very boobalicious dress) for a version of Love Me For A Reason and Mika collaborated with them for Gave It All Away while Stephen’s sister, Michelle and husband, Andy, watched on. Despite it being an emotional night, Mikey, Ronan, Keith and Shane sounded great, singing live for the studio full of their fans.

From what we’ve heard, Ashley Cole’s spent quite a lot of time with total dogs in recent years – and now he’s determined to not let two of them out of his lives: namely, Coco and Buster.

Cheryl’s always going on about how much she loves her two chihuahuas and we can’t say we blame her – they’re much cuter and more loyal than her alleged dirty dog of a husband.

But Ashley loves them too (yes, he has feelings – you heard it here first) and he doesn’t want to lose them from his life – him and Cheryl are now trying to work out visiting rights. See, just because they don’t have children of the non-canine variety it doesn’t mean things aren’t going to get complicated.

Cheryl’s agreed that Ashley can have temporary custody of Coco (who’s a paranoid schizophrenic – yes, seriously) and Buster (bit more stable apparently) until they work out a proper arrangement – preferably without having to get the boring old lawyers involved.

“They want to sort this out as amicably as possible so, to keep the peace, Cheryl is allowing Ashley to spend a few days with them when he gets back to the UK,” says a deadly serious source. “But she’s not willing to drop them off in person – it’s simply too soon. Instead, Ashley has arranged for a car to pick them up from their home and take them to his makeshift apartment in London. He will have them for a few days and then the dogs will go back to Cheryl. The most positive thing to come out of Cheryl Cole’s right bum of a week is the fact that she’s found out who her true friends are.

As Cheryl knows only too well, when you have a high-profile job which is tough and relentless in terms of the stress and emotion spent, and time it robs you of, it’s hard keeping in touch with husbands – let alone friends.

So it was heartwarming to see that her Girls Aloud bandmates Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts (right) dropped everything to go and comfort their colleague and true mate the day after she arrived back from America and holed herself up in her broken marital home.

When you’re emotionally wrecked and playing the details over and over in your head, trying to make sense of it all, trying to squeeze some hope out of a hopeless situation, there’s nothing like your girlfriends.

Sure, Cheryl’s mum Joan is a tower of strength, as is the rest of her close, downto-earth family, but they’ll naturally side with Cheryl. Read full article.

CHEATED Cheryl Tweedy is set to get away from it all on a Caribbean holiday.

The 26-year-old singer is being persuaded to go by her best pals, Girls Aloud bandmates Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts.

The friends took her to Thailand after Chelsea star husband Ashley’s fling with a hairdresser was revealed in December 2007.

Cheryl has ditched the England defender over revelations about a string of other girls.

A source said: “Nicola and Kimberley want Cheryl to jet off with them somewhere warm to cheer her up.”

T IN The Park bosses have invited Cheryl Cole to take the festival by storm with a special appearance.

The singer could join the Black Eyed Peas at Balado to bring their joint European tour to the T stage.

Speaking exclusively to The Razz, an insider said: “Should Cheryl want to join the Black Eyed Peas on the bill, that would be fantastic.”

Solo star Cheryl has been working with Will.i.am for the last two years and is on tour with the band throughout Europe in May and June.

She is the support act on the arena tour but is expected to team up with Will to perform Three Words and Heartbreaker at some point during the show. Read full article.
